The continous petals that surround the costume represent the layers of Indonesia’s diverse cultures, traditions, and ethnicities coming together in harmony.


Designed by Inggi Kendran, this costume celebrates Indonesia as a blooming garden of unity, where every petal, like every citizen, plays a crucial role in creating a harmonious whole.

Terinspirasi dari sosok Dewi Saraswati sebagai “Jñāna Pravāha,” yang diibaratkan sebagai sungai yang mengalir dengan lembut namun tak henti-hentinya, membawa serta kebijaksanaan dari generasi ke generasi, melintasi waktu dan ruang. Perwujudan dari aliran pengetahuan yang abadi dan tak terputus.

“Jñāna Pravāha Sarasvatī” juga melambangkan pengetahuan yang berkelanjutan dan relevan, yang beradaptasi dengan perubahan zaman namun tetap berakar kuat pada nilai-nilai universal dan abadi. “Jñāna Pravāha Sarasvatī” menjadi simbol dari pengetahuan yang tak lekang oleh waktu, yang terus mengalir dan memberi kehidupan, membawa cahaya kebijaksanaan dan kecemerlangan ke seluruh alam semesta.

Miss Planet Indonesia's national costume, inspired by two beloved characters from Javanese folklore, showcasing wisdom, humor, and the spirit of Central Java.


SEMAR, the humble and wise figure, symbolizes inner strength and guidance, while PETRUK, with his playful personality, represents humor and wit. Together, they are protectors and advisors in the traditional wayang (shadow puppet) tales.


Designed by Annisa Banyuwangi, this costume not only honors Indonesia's artistic legacy but also celebrates the timeless values of wisdom and positive mind in the face of challenges.

The philosophy embedded in the batik-making process reflects life values such as patience, precision, perseverance, focus, and hard work. 
 

Therefore, batik makers are not just artists but also guardians of cultural heritage passed down through generations. As a manifestation of pride in Indonesia’s rich culture, Guardians of Tradition: The Spirit of Batik represents beauty, elegance, and the spirit of perseverance in safeguarding cultural heritage. This costume is inspired by batik, a masterpiece recognized globally by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage.

The horns symbolize strength and protection, reflecting the Asmat’s role as guardians of their ancestral lands. The vibrant motifs and feathers represent their deep respect for the natural world, embodying harmony between humans and the environment.

The mask and weapon signify the tribe’s ceremonial traditions, honoring their ancestors and preserving the wisdom passed down through generations.

This costume is the reflection to the resilience and cultural pride of Papua, celebrating its timeless legacy and unity with nature.

Admiring Kabasaran is a traditional Minahasan martial art and war dance from North Sulawesi in Indonesia. It is performed by several men clad in red costumes, wielding a sword with a shield or a spear. The dancers are called kawasalan, which implies imitating like a pair of fighter cocks.
